Point Designs produces durable prosthetic fingers that feature a heavy-duty ratcheting mechanism that was developed to improve the independence of patients who have lost one or more fingers or thumb at or near the MCP or PIP joints.
The foundation to all of our products is an innovative improvement to the “conventional” passive prosthesis. Our prosthetic fingers have an elegant and novel ratcheting linkage mechanism resulting in anatomical prosthetic finger flexion. Unlike body-powered prostheses, which require active muscle contraction to maintain grip, our prosthetic finger(s) rely only on the ratcheting mechanism to lock into position.

Our key focus is ensuring the right fit for every patient and working with the clinical team to achieve a lasting and beneficial solution. That’s why we offer no cost size exchanges throughout the fitting process and prior to device delivery if the initial sizing isn’t correct.
